Maps and travel
The University of Manchester campus comprises two main areas: the Sackville Street area, formerly the UMIST campus, and the Oxford Road area, formerly The Victoria University of Manchester campus.
The School of Physics and Astronomy is housed in the Schuster Building on Brunswick Street (building number 54) and in the Alan Turing Building (number 46). The building numbers are given on the map of the University campus. Note that the ex-UMIST Physics building is building number 1 on the map.
