Important Immigration Information for International Applicants
The UK Government is currently introducing a scheme called the Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) for students applying for an Entry Clearance visa to study in the UK on or after 1st November 2007.
International applicants to the School of Physics and Astronomy are required to obtain ATAS clearance prior to applying for an Entry Clearance visa for all programmes offered in the School.

The UK Government is currently introducing a scheme called the Academic Technology Approval Scheme (ATAS) which will affect students applying to extend visas to study in the UK on or after 1st November 2007.
Prior to applying for an extension to a visa, international students in the School of Physics and Astronomy are required to obtain ATAS clearance.
