Undergraduate study

Around 250 new students join our undergraduate degree course each year. Most of our students have high grades in A-levels, but many enter with alternative qualifications, from throughout the British Isles, Europe and the rest of the world.

We have top ratings for Teaching (24/24) and for the volume of world-leading and internationally excellent research. We are also the only School of Physics to have consistently achieved an overall Student Satisfaction score of over 95% in each of the last three annual National Student Surveys.
