2D Materials and Interfaces: Lecture Series on Physics of Graphene, Lipids and Proteins
9 – 10 April 2015, Bragg Lecture Theatre, Schuster Building
The Biological Physics Group at Manchester and the Marie-Curie Initial Training Network SNAL (Smart Nano-objects for Alteration of Lipid Bilayers) are organising a two-day course on 2D Materials and Interfaces. The lectures will be delivered by invited experts as well as PIs in the training network. The courses will teach basic science and discuss recent advances in 2D materials research exploring their unique properties and opportunities for biotechnological applications.
An honorary opening lecture on ground-breaking 2D research will be given by Physics Nobel laureate and Director of National Graphene Institute, Professor Konstantin Novoselov.
