Once you have read our course information you will be ready to proceed with your application. All applicants who have a UK correspondence address are automatically invited to attend a visit day.
Interviews and offers
Our general policy is that we interview all UK applicants before making an offer. We only invite you to the School if we believe on the basis of the information on the UCAS form, that you have a good chance of a place with the School.
The application process
Our visit days take place between November and March and you will be invited to a specific day where you will be interviewed, by an academic member of staff; this usually lasts around 25 minutes. We place great importance in meeting face-to-face with our applicants and we believe this to be beneficial to both the applicant and the School. The choice of university is an important one, and it is essential that you are sure that the City, University, School and Course is the right one for you. Equally it is our chance to determine your suitability and commitment to the degree programme and to answer any outstanding questions you may have. In most cases we will be able to inform you of the conditions for any offer at the end of the interview.
If the decision is positive, for example conditional or unconditional, we will write directly to you with details of the offer. We also send all decisions to UCAS within a few days of the interview. A few days later UCAS will forward this on to you.
