We offer a wide range of courses, allowing you to choose between a straight physics degree, and a combination of physics with a specialisation.
Would you like to study here but don't have the right entry qualifications? Why not consider a Foundation Year course?
The Integrated Foundation Year is "year zero" of a four or five year course leading to a degree from one of the schools of science or engineering at the University of Manchester.
The MPhys (Master of Physics) is an enhanced, four-year course designed to produce graduates who are more self-reliant, more experienced, and more scientifically-aware.
The fourth year of the MPhys course provides more opportunities for you to show initiative, to learn independently, to do research and to gather information. It also allows you to undertake projects that provide insight into the nature of research in experimental or theoretical physics, and to study topics in advanced physics in depth.
