Graphene NOWNANO CDT
Up to 12 fully funded studentships per year are available at the EPSRC-funded Graphene NOWNANO CDT. We welcome applications from graduates with a good degree (first or high upper second) in science, engineering or biomedical disciplines. Places are available to UK and EU nationals resident in the UK for more than three years. A small number of funded places are also available to EU nationals not currently resident in the UK.
EPSRC and MRC CDT in Regenerative Medicine
This CDT is an interdisciplinary centre co-sponsored by EPSRC and MRC with a general focus on laying the foundation for new medical therapies for pathologies including trauma, muscular dystrophy, diabetes and Alzheimer's disease.
EPSRC CDT in Compound Semiconductor Manufacturing (CSM)
The CDT will support postgraduate students to develop advanced knowledge and skills in compound semiconductor technology. It is a collaboration between Cardiff, Manchester, Sheffield and UCL and 24 industry partners with established expertise in CS disciplines and is open to those with a background in physics or engineering. Applications for October close on 20 July.
4IR STFC CDT in Data Intensive Science
This CDT aims to develop future leaders in the data intensive methodologies underpinning both modern science and the fourth industrial revolution. A collaboration between the universities of Manchester, Lancaster and Sheffield, research projects undertaken as part of this CDT will focus on data intensive aspects of research across astrophysics, particle physics and nuclear physics.
